March 20th minutes still posted in abridged form and need to be modified.
Discussed new community rep carts running with application deadline of April 20th
Nothing new on UPSO Program Council election
II - Evaluations
PC confirmed that Music of the World - Thursdays, hosted by Stephen Kent and Music of the World - Fridays, hosted by David McBurnie were both approved for extension.
III - Special Programming
Available PA staff confirmed that KPFA would not be recording audio at "American and It's Wars". PC discussed challenges of union regulations requiring audio staff to be paid (thus preventing the use of volunteer labor) and the limitations this places on the number of events that can be taped for use in PA segments.
Discussed the final date for Asian Pacific Heritage Month Special. Still not sure if it's May 26th or May 27th.
IV - Ongoing Programming
Work Week review scheduled for April 24th - giving PC members two weeks to listen to the pilot. There is some objection to not postponning the review until the post-June period and/or requiring a new paper proposal, but the majority of PC members present agreed that they would like to proceed with the review in a timely manner and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the new demo tape that has been provided.
PC still waiting on a suggestion/recommendation from the I-PD for Saturday AM programming from 10-noon.
Discussed brifly the status of the Youth Radio negotiations.
Adjourned @8:02pm

Unable to coomplete Cycle Vi evaluations. Music Director, PA Directors and I-PD all absent and no summaries sent.
Reviewed Cycle Seven assignments
III - Special Programming
PC member suggested the possibility of getting some audio from this conference: America and it's Wars - at UC Berkeley in mid-April for later packaging/broadcast. PA Department and I-PD to look into it (via e-mail communication post-meeting).
Work Week revised pilot received by the PC and it will be posted on the wiki for listening. Review to proceed as proposal moratorium ended on March 8, 2007.
Reviewed proposal for API Heritage Special. Consensus vote for the special to air post-fund drive. Dates requested may conflict with the fund drive. Nick Alexander recused himself from voting for conflict of interest. PC suggested that an evening slot that doesn't pre-empt Sunday night arts programming be strongly considered.
New proposals from the June to December 2006 period that were reviewed in January/February 2007 were declined for the waiting list: Peace Talks and Ed Rosenthal's Marijuana Variety Show.
No formal plan presented as of yet for Saturday AM vacancy. PC members suggested that a call to generate new proposals might be a good idea given the visibility of the slot.
Updates on the current status of Informativo Pacifico, the Youth Radio negotiations, and progress on replacing the Sunday morning PA host and Sunday Salon were not provided.
