I - Announcements: We expect a proposal from Weyland Southon to present the annual Power to Peaceful event live from 13:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, 9 September.

Tom Mazzolini will begin his program an hour early to cover for the vacationing host of the Johnny Otis show on 9 and 16 September.

KPFA will collect audio from a special event marking the Chicano Moratorium on 27 August, to assemble a program for broadcast from 19:00 - 22:00 on Tuesday, 29 August in the LaRaza Chronicles and Musical Colors slots.

To free time to deliberate proposals, a presentation from Hard Knock about Arbitrons planned for 22 August will probably be postponed until the second week of September.

II - Ongoing programming:

Alfredo Kuba (Animal Rights Radio) may be willing to withdraw his Animal Rights Radio proposal if it is possible to arrange for regular participation on the already-approved Watch Dog proposal.

Theresa Dale withdrew her proposal for an alternative medicine program pending submission of another demo tape that more closely resembles the intended program.

The issue of irregular host attendance for Live from Aztlan arose; particular information will be delivered to the Music Director.

Ralph Schoenman and Mya Shone answered questions about their revised proposal for Taking Aim which incorporates 25% listener call-ins.
